Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Latvia: Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the top navigation and maps applications in Latvia showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. Here is a closer look at the trends for each app.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly downloads. Starting from 2K downloads in late March, it reached approximately 2.8K by the end of June.

Google Maps Go saw a peak in weekly downloads around late May with 2.4K downloads. However, it experienced fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with around 1.6K downloads in the final week of June.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation from AppStar Studios maintained a steady weekly revenue, generally around $1 to $5. Weekly downloads showed a gradual increase, starting at 609 downloads in late March and peaking at 874 downloads by the end of June.

LVM GEO - Recreation and work had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads. The app started with 364 downloads in late March, reaching up to 469 downloads in the week of June 20, before ending the quarter with 435 downloads.

Google Earth showed some fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting with 470 downloads in late March and experiencing a dip in mid-June with 351 downloads, before slightly recovering to 354 downloads by the end of the quarter.
